Hi there! My name is Corinne Betts and I’m thrilled to be teaching the Lil' Mustangs program at Cayuse Prairie! It’s an honor to help our youngest learners begin their educational journey in a positive and enjoyable environment. 

My goal is to help pre-kindergarten students build a strong foundation not only in early academics, but also in the life skills and social-emotional growth they’ll need to thrive and navigate school with confidence, kindness, and curiosity.

I grew up in Indiana but attended Portland State University where I received a B.S. in Environmental Studies. My passion for the outdoors led me to seasonal Forest Service work, which landed us in the beautiful Flathead Valley. During my time off, I began working in a Special Education classroom at Kalispell Middle School. It was there that I fell in love with teaching. I decided to pursue a graduate degree in Teaching through Montana State University, which I completed in 2024 while student teaching here at Cayuse Prairie. 

When I’m not at school, you can usually find me spending time with my husband and our two dogs. We love to ski, camp, travel, and spend as much time outside as possible!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!
